This module will guide you through the the format string and shellcoding. Again, please obtain of a copy of IDA Free on your personal computer.

Note: the challenges that have "Lab Flask" icon are teaching demos, those challenges will not count towards your class grade. Feel free to play with them at any time. However, for those challenges that have "Flag" icon, they are in-class practices which will have bonus points towards your class grade if you successfully solve them during the class time. Some of them might be harder than the teaching demos. Good luck!
